Possible Drug Interactions 

  • Amphetamine Mixture should not be used in conjunction with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI). The combination may cause elevated blood pressure. Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) shouldn’t be used with methylphenidates. 
  • Concerta, Ritalin, Focalin, and dextroamphetamine (such as DextroStat, Adderall, and Amphetamine Mixture XR): The combination may precipitate.  High blood pressure is a serious concern. 
  • Weight-loss drugs (e.g., Meridia) Weight loss drugs, prescription and Non-prescription and should not be used with Dextroamphetamine/amphetamines or methylphenidates. This combination may Increase blood pressure or create irritation, Insomnia and other side effects from Excessive stimulation.

Overdosing 

The severity of Amphetamine Mixture overdose is determined according to the quantity taken. Symptoms of acute overdose may include restlessness, agitation, irritability, sleeplessness, Hyperactivity, disorientation, high blood pressure, fast heart rate, delirium, hallucinations, irregular heartbeat, convulsions, coma, circulatory collapse and death.

Any suspected overdose should be considered an emergency. The individual should be rushed to the emergency room for observation and therapy. • Store the drug in the original labeled, light-resistant container, away from heat and moisture. Heat and moisture may cause pharmaceutical breakdown, resulting in loss of therapeutic action.
• Keep your medications out of reach of youngsters.
